Master 2

The Master 2 is organised over two semesters (one academic year). The first semester requires 30 ECTS (European Credits Transfer System). It starts around the end of September and ends at the beginning of February. However, the second semester (30 ECTS) is achieved as a 5-6 months internship (see below). Essentially, the purpose of these two semesters is to provide to students:

 

  1. Advanced applied data processing (signal and image processing), 

  2. Advanced application computer vision  and AI development.

Admission requirements 

At least a Bachelor degree "4 years of university studies" in the field of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Information Technology,  or equivalent. For french education system a "Master 1" is required (e.g. Science Pour I’Ingénieur, Computer science, Mathematics, Physics,...), or equivalent.

This course requires as prerequisite the course "Biometrics I". After an overview, advanced biometric technique are considered.

Advanced computer vision, including 3D vision are presented. In parallel, modern machine-learning using deep-learning are presented in the section Machine-learning.

Writing a research paper, choosing a journal for publication will be discussed. On the other hand, professional culture will be introduced by some of our professional partners.

Thought numerous workshop sessions, students get the opportunity to reveal their creativities by embedding AI solutions in software systems.

It will be the last project before moving to the internship. Student are asked to embed all their advanced knowledge is some useful applications in the field of AI, Biometrics and computer vision.
